Tyson Durfey had the fastest hands in the Shootout Round in 2014.
He recorded a time of 6.95 seconds to hold off rodeo legends Trevor Brazile, who won the Long Go, and Cody Ohl.
As of 2020, those three cowboys have now combined for 65 Wrangler NFR appearances.
“There are so many legends here, I got to see Ty Murray and Justin McBride and all of these guys I’ve dreamed about meeting and getting to know,” Durfey said. “To be here in front of fellow Texans, this is the best feeling in the world, I can tell you that.”
