Brenten Hall and Chase Tryan put together a 4.2-second run to win Round Four of the Wrangler NFR in team roping.
“It was a good night tonight, and the steers were stronger,” Hall said. “There was a 4.8 winning when we went, and I didn’t really know if we could beat that time on that steer since he is pretty strong, so I was going to try to get on him as fast I could and it just worked out for us.”

The win was much needed as the pair only had one qualified time in the first three rounds. Despite the two early misses, they’ve now each made $43,000, which ranks as third-highest pair so far.
Dustin Egusquiza and Travis Graves both remain No. 1 by narrow margins thanks to banking a whopping $80,653 apiece so far at the NFR.
Luke Brown and Joseph Harrison, who each entered No. 1 in the world, split second Sunday night with a 4.8-second run. They are currently second in the average (and the world standings) behind Dustin Egusquiza/Travis Graves.
