Cole Elshere last qualified for the NFR in 2014 and after enduring five straight years outside of the Top 20, he’s back this year.

A week later, he also placed in every round and won the Heart O’ Texas Rodeo with an 87.5-point ride on Bartender in the finals. He earned more than $4,500 for the weekend in Waco.

Elshere also won the Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo in Indianapolis at the end of October. He would also go onto finish in the Top 4 at the Cinch World’s Toughest events in Des Moines and St. Paul as well.
