Most Memorable Moments: Dan Mortensen wins sixth Saddle Bronc Riding Gold Buckle

Dan Mortensen will go down as one of the best saddle bronc riders of all time and in 2003, he permanently etched himself into ProRodeo history by winning his sixth gold buckle to tie Casey Tibbs for the most ever by a bronc rider.

The year before he won his sixth world title, Mortensen rode Painted Smile Dip for a then-NFR record 92 points.

All told, Mortensen rode at 16 NFRs in his career and won 24 go-rounds, including five in 1998.
