2020 NFR Qualifiers: Bareback Horses

2020 NFR Qualifiers: Bareback Horses_19960911-g.jpg

The animal athletes have been chosen for the 2020 NFR — with 105 bareback horses, 105 saddle broncs, and 100 bulls chosen for the roughstock events.

Here’s a look at the stock contractors who will be represented in the bareback riding and the horses they will be bringing to Texas to compete at the National Finals.

Among the A-listers are names you’ll recognize such as Killer Bee, Virgil, Gun Fire, and 2020 PRCA Horse of the Year Top Flight.

Pickett Pro Rodeo has more bareback qualifiers than any other rodeo company, with 17 in total, and this week we talked to bareback rider Caleb Bennett, who’s played an integral role in the selection process, about how the animals are chosen. (Click here to watch the interview with Bennett.)
