Seven of the last eight Wrangler NFRs have now included Nevada cowboy Dakota Eldridge.

Eldridge notched wins in Iowa, Idaho and Utah en route to $50,085 and a fourth-place finish in the bulldogging in 2020.

Of those three wins, two of them came in the same weekend on Aug. 27-29. First, Eldridge threw one down 3.6 seconds at the Golden Spike Rodeo in Utah. Less than 24 hours later, he stopped the clock again at 3.6 to win in Salmon, Idaho.

He won $2,335 and $1,502 respectively for those performances.

While Eldridge did not win any eye-popping checks like he has in past seasons, he was consistent throughout the 2020 season.

Between July 9 and Sept. 5, Eldridge won more than $1,200 at seven different rodeos in seven different states, with the biggest check coming from Sikeston, Missouri, where he won $2,339 for a fifth-place finish.

Early in the season, Eldridge also notched solid performances at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and the Dixie National Rodeo. In Jackson, Mississippi, he was 3.4 in the second round which was his fastest time of the season.

Eldridge won the average at the Wrangler NFR in 2015 and 2017 and has finished in the Top 5 in the world standings four times.
