Jordan Jo Fabrizio Reacts to the News of the First World Champion Breakaway Roping at the NFR

The Breakaway Roping World Championship was announced today, to be held during the Wrangler NFR as a partnership between the PRCA and WPRA. It’s a $200,000 purse and one of the biggest opportunities for professional breakaway ropers to date since the introduction of breakaway roping at The American.

“It’s pretty emotional. I think we are all just so excited that we get the opportunity. I think first and foremost we all want to thank the PRCA and the WPRA for giving us this chance. ... Part of me wants to cry, part of me wants to jump up and down like a little kid, and part of me is just ready to back in there and rope. So, just a bunch of emotions.”
