Beloved Oklahoma rancher and horseman Jud Little passed away March 28.
Little raised registered Hereford cattle for more than 40 years, and his cattle were always top contenders at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, winning numerous championship honors.
He was also the founder of the Jud Little’s Bar Nothin’ Ranch horse operation, sending a record number of timed event horses to National Finals Rodeo.
Little was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, Oklahoma Quarter Horse Association, Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, Barrel Futurities of America, Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, and Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show, and he was inducted into the Horsemanship Hall of Fame in 2004 for his achievements in the equestrian world.
