Stockyards Stories: APHA Relocates to Fort Worth

The American Paint Horse Association has moved to the Fort Worth Stockyards, relocating their headquarters in the newly renovated Mule Alley District — as not only their main office space, but also a museum of APHA history, a storefront for APHA gear, and an ode to the Stockyards’ history.

Senior Director of Marketing Steven Hayes gives us a tour of the new space, telling us all about what the APHSA has done to not only preserve the history of the mule barn but also revamp and make it there own, and what all the new APHA headquarters has to offer visitors.

“Being in the Stockyards is awesome,” he says. “The history down here, walking across those bricks coming to your office every morning — there’s nothing like it. I get goosebumps every morning coming into this office space. It’s just amazing. They’ve done an amazing job keeping the history and traditions alive here in the Stockyards. So, being a part of that is super exciting.”
