Stockton Graves after taking the lead on Day 1 of Pool B steer wrestling at Calgary Stampede

It was a tough pen of steers on Day 1 of the bulldogging in Pool B at the Calgary Stampede on Tuesday afternoon.

Stockton Graves stopped the clock at 4.1 seconds and was one of two steer wrestlers who was under five seconds. The day also included four no times, after there were just three in all of Pool A.

“Luck of the draw, just kind of wing it from there and go,” Graves said. “We’re gonna come up here and win as much money as we can.”
