The animals of the roughstock events have been putting on a show every where they go and bringing in huge stock scores.
In the bareback riding this past week, there was a tie for the second highest ranking spot. Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Pretty Woman bucked for 46 points in San Antonio with Seth Hardwick. Sharing the spotlight for second is Cervi’s Gander Goose who bucked off Jacob Rayne in San Antonio as well. The No. 1 bareback horse of the week goes to Pete Carr’s High Heels with a stock score of 48 to buck off Chad Rutherford.
We stay with San Antonio for the ranked horses in saddle bronc. Calgary’s Stampede’s Yesterday’s Delivery bucked for 47 points with Cody DeMoss. The next horse is one that we see regularly score high points, it’s Bridwell Pro Rodeo’s Indian Burn. Lucas Macza rode Indian Burn twice in San Antonio and made the 8 seconds both times while Indian Burn bucked for 47.5 points. Coming in as the rankest bronc is another one that we see here a lot, Beutler and Son’s Killer Bee. The mare marked 48.5 points with Brody Cress in Tuscon to tie the arena record of 92 points.
In the bull riding, Wild Onion of Andrew’s Rodeo kicks it off. He brought in a score of 46.5 when he bucked off World Champion Stetson Wright in San Antonio. Cervi’s Yellowstone tied Wild Onion as one of the high marked animals of the week. Yellowstone bucked off Ernie Courson Jr. to go 46.5 points. Your No. 1 bull of the week is Smoke Stack from Beutler and Son Rodeo with 47 points at the La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros Rodeo in Arizona.
