Stock Market Report

As always, it was a week of big scores for both the cowboys and the stock. Here is a look at your top three in each roughstock event from the past week.

In Bareback riding Bailey Pro Rodeo’s, Colorado Bulldog went 45 points with Rocker Steiner riding. The second-ranked Bareback horse was Beutler and Sons’ Bar Talk which was marked 45.5 points and bucked off Chad Phipps who took a hard fall halfway through the ride. The top-ranked Bareback horse was C5 Rodeo’s Black Eye who was marked 46 points at the Last Chance Stampede.

In Saddle Bronc Riding your number three horse was J Bar J’s Smoke Show at 46.5 points in Montana. Four Star Rodeo’s Rip Tide was also marked 46.5 points up in Oregon. The top Bronc in Pro Rodeo last week was Sutton Rodeo’s Face Book who was marked 47 points at the Days of ’76 Rodeo in Deadwood.

In Bull Riding, Cervi Brothers’ Williams James George comes in at number three after being marked 46.5 points, the best-marked ride of the bulls career. Western Rodeo’s Sumpin Special was also marked 46.5 points, the bull has been ridden just once in three years. The number one ranked bull of the week was Beutler and Son’s Red Thunder was marked 47 points.
