Stetson Wright continued to etch his name into rodeo’s history books after winning the Pendleton Xtreme Bulls on Tuesday night.
In doing so, Wright has now won $306,753 in bull riding this season, breaking Sage Kimzey’s 2018 record of $297,026 earned before the NFR.
Wright was the only bull rider to cover 3-of-4 at the event and he totaled 257 points. Overall, he came away with the event with north of $20,000 in prize money.
“This is just as good as winning a World Title,” he said. "(I’ve wanted it for years), good to finally get it.”
