Stetson Wright won Semifinal A in the saddle bronc riding and was far from finished there.
The winner of the last four PRCA All-Around Gold Buckles followed up his 89.5-point bronc ride with a 91-point bull ride Friday night, which was not just the best ride of the round, but the best ride of the entire rodeo.
The bull riders had to be at least 85 points to advance as it was a trio of 2022 NFR qualifiers as well as seven-time qualifier Trey Benton III onto Saturday’s Short Round. Benton III was marked 86.5, Tristen Hutchings was 86 and Josh Frost was 85.
