Stetson Wright and Pickett Pro Rodeo’s Delta Dawn matched up to make Night No. 1 of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo a good one. The pair marked 86 points to win the round and set the bar.
“I love getting on horses, especially like that, that are really good and have some hang time. I love getting on almost everything,” he said.
After talking with his brother, Ryder, Stetson knew this was a horse to win it on and he says advice from his family is like having an upper hand in the bronc riding.
Stetson has claimed yet another go-round win and is furthering his lead in the World Standings while Brody Wells took second and reigning World Champion Zeke Thurston took third with two go-rounds left of Bracket 1 in San Antonio.
