Stetson Wright brought his bull riding season earnings to nearly $300,000 Tuesday night after he rode for 89 points on Sankey Pro Rodeo & Phenom Genetics’ Bouchon in Round 4 of the Pendleton Xtreme Bulls Finale to win the event and year-end X Bulls Titles.
“Sitting second place (entering the last round), I knew I had to come swinging and that’s what I did,” he said.
Wright went 3-for-4 with an aggregate score of 263.5 in Pendleton to win $29,000. He won Rounds 1, 2 and 4.
He was one of three bull riders to cover at least three as Josh Frost and Creek Young did so as well.
