After winning both rounds of Pool 3 in Denver, Stetson Wright went on to win it all in the saddle bronc riding.
A 90-point ride on the Cervi Brothers’ Ed Bishop was sweet redemption for Wright.
“She bucked me off pretty hard last year and whenever horses do that it either shatters your confidence or you come back and try to redeem yourself,” Wright said.
This was Wright’s first time to win money at the National Western and he did so in a big way, walking away with over $8,800.
It was a battle in the saddle bronc riding Finals as eight cowboys were 83 points or better and six were 85 points or better.
Tanner Butner, Layton Green and Sage Newman finished second, third and fourth, meaning the Top 4 in Denver all made the 2022 NFR.
