Stetson Wright earned a big check at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo. Wright went 91.5 points on Championship Pro Rodeo’s Angel Eyes to earn a $12,500 check at the rodeo.
After his win, Stetson mentioned having his family at the rodeo cheering him on, “It feels awesome, Rusty, Ryder, my dad they help me a lot. I just feel super lucky.”
Stetson lived up to his 2020 all-around title by taking second place in Bull Riding after going 86 points, just a point and a half behind JB Mauney for first place.
Stetson now sits in second place in the Saddle Bronc World Standings behind only his brother Ryder Wright.
If you watch a Wright compete at a rodeo you will usually see the signature royal blue in the chutes cheering them on.
“It is always fun especially when I have Rusty and Ryder there cheering loud. That just tops everything off especially when you win.”
