Stetson Wright Dominates in Pendleton

Stetson Wright was nothing short of dominant in Pendleton. On the same week Wright became the youngest million-dollar cowboy, he took three titles at the Pendleton Round-Up. Wright won the Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, and All-Around titles, totaling more than $22,000 which broke Trevor Brazile’s Pendleton record.

Wright took the Salle Bronc title thanks to a 91.5-point ride on Burch Rodeo’s Lunatic From Hell.

He would follow that up with an 89-point bull ride on Four Star Rodeo’s Royal Playboy.

Thanks to the big weekend, Stetson jumped his brother, Ryder Wright in the Saddle Bronc World Standings and now sits in first place by $5,000. In Bull Riding, Wright was able to make up about $9,000 on first place Sage Kimzey but still sits in a distant second place with $201,337.88, compared to Kimzey’s $245,966.88.

Stetson’s impressive season continues in Salinas for the Tour Finale, where he will look to close more ground on Sage Kimzey in hopes of winning back-to-back Bull Riding World Titles.
