Stetson Wright has been waiting for his chance to get on Mission Belles of Rafter G Rodeo and in Performance 3 of Rodeo Austin, the seven-time World Champion went to work. The duo topped the leaderboard for the entire rodeo with an 88-point ride.
“It was a dog fight. She jumped down the gate and kind of popped me loose from things and then from there it was a dog fight, kept ripping my swells from me and ripping my feet out of her neck. But that’s what every bronc rider wants. That horse is outstanding and I’d love to get on her again,” Wright said.
Wright has a three point lead in Austin with eight performances to go.
