Stetson Wright and Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics’ Overserved served up an 87.5-point ride that made Wright the go-round Champion in Fort Worth.
“That horse of Wade Sankey’s is just outstanding. Took a lot of rein and was electric, it’s a young horse and I’m excited to see where this horse will go,” Wright said.
Overserved only had two other qualified rides on her before Fort Worth that came from the 2022 season. This was a great 2023 debut for the Sankey horse.
This win puts Wright in the No. 1 spot going into Round 2 while Ross Griffin finished second and Leon Fountain was third.
