Sterling Crawley and Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Downtown matched up to be 83.5 points and take home the Round 2 win of Bracket 5 in San Antonio. This horse and Crawley go way back
“Yeah, I’ve had the horse drawn a few times. I’ve had her actually when she was a colt, when she was a lot smaller. She was really nice, really flashy. Now, she’s got a little more juice to her and it’s almost more exciting,” Crawley said.
The two met at the circuit finals in October before finding their names side by side yet again, this time in San Antone. For Crawley, it was nice having a horse he knew.
Chase Brooks, Shorty Garrett and Tanner Butner were the other three bronc riders to pull checks in Round 2 with one round left to go to fill the four spots left in the Semifinals.
