Ty Erickson is on fire at the San Angelo Rodeo. After a blazing quick run in Round 1 of 3.9 seconds, he goes on to Round 2 to stop the clock at a 4.2 and take over the lead in the Average.
“It was good, that steer had been a couple times before I ran him here today. I knew he was a really good chance, he was one that I really wanted and I was fortunate to have him, made a good run on him and I’m really looking forward to Friday,” Erickson said.
In true bulldogger fashion, it has been a rodeo where they help each other out whether it is hazing, sharing horses or anything else. Erickson says this group is all friends and they help each other the best they can.
The Montana cowboy leads the Average by just one tenth as he gears up for the Finals.
