After not placing in the first round, Bracket 5 steer wrestler Tanner Brunner won both the second and third at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, securing the number one spot in his bracket, $4,500 in prize money, and a spot in the Semifinals.
Brunner talks about why San Antonio is his favorite rodeo, what it feels like to win there, and growing up in Kansas in a family of rodeo athletes.
On why he chose steer wrestling, Brunner says, “Yah know, it just kind of fit me the best. I like the physicality and camaraderie of the sport.”
