Kyle Eike topped off the steer wrestling in Sikeston with a 4.5-second run at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo to go to No. 1 by over a second.
“I knew that steer was really good and I just wanted to score sharp and set it up as best I could and I did. I got out of the barrier well and everything else just kind of took care of itself,” he said.

Eike’s horse is called Goody and it’s not without Goody’s help that Eike took the lead. The horse does his job and makes the same trip every time.
A 5.7 is the next closest time in Sikeston with three performances left to go.
