Jesse Brown has been a model of consistency over the last handful of years. He is heading to his fifth straight NFR after a great 2024 regular season.

Brown has finished inside the Top 6 each of the last three years and over the last two seasons, he has totaled more than $500,000.

He enters this year’s NFR No. 6 in the World.

Greeley Stampede, $3,932

Brown posted his fastest run of the season at the Greeley Stampede in Round 2. It would be his only run that earned money, but he made it worth it with a 3.3-second run. Prior to that run, Brown had not been 3.3 or faster since the Farm-City Pro Rodeo in 2023.

Basin City Rodeo Freedom Rodeo, $3,490

Brown got one of his bigger single-header paydays at the Basin City Freedom Rodeo where he finished in second thanks to a 4.5-second run. The run earned him just under $3,500. The win was perhaps a bit sweeter because he ended up out of the money after breaking the barrier and recording a 13.4-second run there in 2023. During Cowboy Christmas, he also placed at The Calgary Stampede.

Cache County Rodeo, $3,854

Brown got one of his four wins on the season at the Cache County Rodeo where he was 4.1 seconds. The win earned him over $3,800 and would set him up to have a big end-of-the-season at three major rodeos.

Pendleton Round-Up, $9,247

The Oregon native had a great showing in Pendleton by getting checks on 2-of-3 runs and winning the Average. He opened up with a 6.6-second run. In the next two rounds, Brown was 4.2 and 6.4 seconds to get him into the Finals, where he posted a time of 5.3 seconds to place third in the round, but more importantly win the Average. His aggregate time of 18.3 seconds on three was one tenth better than World No. 1 Dalton Massey.

Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup, $28,125

The biggest payday of Brown’s season came on the final weekend of the season at the Governor’s Cup. He opened the rodeo with two of his better runs of the season. He was 3.8 seconds and 3.5 seconds in the first two rounds and those two runs won him over $20,000. In the Finals, Brown placed fourth with a time of 4.4 seconds to earn an additional $7,500, ending his season on a high note.

Over the last three weeks of the season, he moved up two spots in the World Standings.
