Friday night’s steer wrestling at Rodeo Austin was one of the fastest performances we have seen this year. Ringo Robinson thought he had tied for the lead when Jason Thomas came out and stopped the clock at 3.7 seconds right after.
“Here at Austin, we’ve got to see more than we’ve been doing, so I was really trying to concentrate on my score and let the rest fall where it did and it worked out tonight,” Thomas said.
After watching the performance the night before and the mishaps that those cowboys had, Thomas was glad that the steer wrestlers has a whole had a better performance on Friday.
Currently sitting in a tied for second behind Thomas is Bridger Anderson, Ringo Robinson and Talon Roseland while Taz Olson sits fifth with Eli Lord and Sam Goings tying for sixth.
