After going through the qualifiers to get into San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, Australian steer wrestler Darcy Kersh made it all count when the clock stopped at 4.9 seconds. This run ended up being the fastest of the night getting Kersh the go-round win.
“It was a really good steer. I knew him from the Uvalde qualifier. One of my friends ran him there, actually, so I knew I had a good chance and just had to go out there and make the most of him,” Kersh said.
When you have good people, good horses and good opportunities, Kersh says he is just blessed.
Mike McGinn finished second last night while Bridger Chambers and Jace Melvin round out the Top 4 to earn money.
