Steer Wrestler Dakota Eldridge Talks Family in Rodeo
Dakota Eldridge is a nine-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier and two time NFR Average Champion who’s huge family has ties that run deep in the rodeo world.
Being one of three family members to compete at the 2022 National Finals Rodeo, Eldridge was joined by saddle bronc riders Lefty Holman and Dawson Hay. When you put the whole family together, it is nothing short of greatness.
Eldridge met his wife Quincy at the high school finals, fast forward and now they have two little girls, Sally and Ruby. Both girls’ names have a very special meaning that go back to those deep ties. Sally is named after Quincy’s late mother who’s impact on the western world can still be seen today in Quincy work at Rodeo Quincy. Ruby was named after the Ruby Mountains in Nevada, where Dakota took Quincy on their first date.
With big personalities and a big family, the Eldridge girls are destined to do big things just like Dakota and Quincy.
