Steer Wrestler Bridger Chambers Capitalizing in San Antonio with Round Win

Bridger Chambers placed third in the first round of Bracket 3 but he came back in Round 2 to get the round win with a 3.9-second run in San Antonio.

“I was just able to get a really good start and it set up the rest of the run to be fast,” he said.

On a steer that wasn’t the best in the previous round, Chambers capitalized. In small pens like San Antonio, he says the start is important because there is not much room for error. A great horse also helps.

“He’s just Mr. Reliable for me. I’ve had him for a while and he’s always given me a chance to win so it’s up to me,” Chambers said about his horse.

Chambers currently has $4,000 to his name in San Antonio and the next closet steer wrestlers is Jace Melvin with $3,000 as they head into the Final Round and final chance to move on to the Semifinals.
