Steer Wrestler Bridger Anderson Kept it Simple to Win Red Bluff Round-Up

Bridger Anderson picked up his second win on the west coast for the 2023 season after the North Dakota steer wrestler kept his head in the average game at the Red Bluff Round Up. With a time of 18.6 seconds on four head, he cinched the championship.

Anderson said in Red Bluff, you have to see a little bit at the start and he had good starts all week and good steers that he was able to capitalize on.

“Going into it I didn’t have to try and blow it out or try and do anything drastic. I could just go out and make my run and I had another good steer today and we just tried to keep it simple,” he said.

Anderson climbed the standings to be No. 20 in the World going into Red Bluff and after the big win, he is now unofficially the No. 12 ranked bull dogger.

“This is a lot of fun. We’re just going to try to keep it rolling all the way through California, all the way into the summer but yeah, couldn’t ask for anything more,” Anderson said.
