BY BRETT NIERENGARTEN @PRORODEOBRETT

It was a packed weekend of rodeo with more than two dozen in total across the PRCA in the second week of June and none paid more than the $222,000 doled out at the Biggest Little Show in the World in Sisters, Oregon.

Dean Thompson’s gutsy 88-point ride in bareback riding set the tone in Sisters, followed by Hagen Peterson and Chase Tryan’s 4.8-second win in the team roping. Saddle bronc riding saw a tie between Sage Newman and Brody Wells at 86.5 points. Abby Phillips won the barrel racing by .01 over Megan McLeod-Sprague with a 17.35-second run, and Chase Dougherty won the bull riding, his third win since May 18, with 89.5 points. In breakaway roping, it was a three-way tie at 2.5 between Cate Happer, Bailey Peterson and Brittany White.
