Shane Hanchey Takes a Look at the Competition

Shane Hanchey is currently the No. 1 tie-down roper in the world. On Western Sports Round-Up Hanchey took a look at the competition that is hot on his trail.

Young guns, Kincade Henry and Kyle Lucas are at the top of the list. Both have had a great winter and are headed into the summer looking to climb the standings. Henry is currently sitting No. 8 in the world while Lucas is holding on to the No. 4 spot.

The one veteran that Hanchey took a look at was his long time friend, Tuf Cooper. The pair grew up rodeoing together and they root for each other to always compete at their best. Cooper is sitting No. 2 in the tie-down, just $6,836 behind Hanchey.

The race for the No. 1 spot is going to be one to watch this summer.
