He won the second round of the Bracket 1 Semifinals with a time of 3.2 seconds, earning him a spot in the Finals at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.
Following his victory lap, steer wrestler Clayton Hass talked to reporter Bradie Jill Jones about the importance of a good horse and of a good hazer. "[The hazer] is probably 95 percent of the battle so, I mean, without him, we couldn’t do our job for sure,” he says.
On taking home the last first place $5,000 Semifinals check, Hass says, “It’s pretty awesome. Baby needs some new shoes. I’ve got three kids at home, and they’re dang sure a handful.”
