It is the last round of The American Rodeo Semi-Finals! The top competitors in each event will advance on to the finals at AT&T Stadium.
Tonight will run similar to previous rounds but there are some differences we are going to break down for you.
In the Rough Stock events, the top 10 scoring cowboys in the three events will be featured in tonight’s performance. These competitors will battle it out for a spot in the top 6 highest scores on two broncs or bulls. The top riders to watch in Bareback Riding will be Zack Brown on the bronc Night Crawler and Wyatt Bloom on Witless Margie. Saddle Bronc is stacked with some of the biggest names in the game including Cody DeMoss, Sterling Crawley, Dawson Hay and Wade Sundell. Rounding out the rough stock is Bull Riding where the top 6 could be anyone’s guessing game. Make sure to keep an eye on Koby Radley, Dalton Kasel and JC Mortensen as they lead the overall going into tonight.
Team Roping and Tie-Down Roping will run similar with the top 10 fastest times dueling it out in the dirt tonight. The 6 fastest on two heads will advance to the finals. Both of these roping events have competitors with double the chance of punching their ticket to the finals. Charly Crawford is heading for two different healers, Billie Jack Saebens and Douglas Rich. Also, Caleb Smidt will make two runs in the Tie-Down on his horses pockets.
However, Breakaway Roping and Barrel Racing have their own rules of advancement. Unlike the other events mentioned above, both of these events will have new competitors who will be making their first semi-finals run. The fastest 16 times on one head from the past three rounds will advance in the Breakaway. The top 10 Barrel Racers from the past three rounds will also advance forward.
