On a night where every single barrel racer was sub-17.00 seconds at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, Sarah Waguespack ended up the No. 1 cowgirl with a time of 16.34 seconds on a very special horse.
“He was definitely tight tonight and I’m just super proud of how he ran,” she said about Ranger.
The athletic roan and Waguespack stopped the clock at the second fastest time of the entire rodeo. This horse is one that Waguespack trained and futuritued herself and now they are taking on the professional rodeo road.
Waguespack is Semifinals bound alongside defending FWSSR Champion Wenda Johnson while Jackie Ganter is heading to the Wildcard Round.
