With 1.5 million attendees and 6,000 volunteers, the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo thrives on the support of their community.
Volunteers such as Brian White continue to shape the event into a platform for youth education and empowerment.
“I was fortunate enough to be able to show at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo back when i was in high school, my son has been fortunate enough to receive scholarships from the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and I just felt like it was a great time for me to give back,” White said.
Events such as the Junior Shoot Out allow FFA students are able to showcase their skills while staying involved with the tight knit community that is the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.
