The San Angelo Rodeo is back with Performance 5. Lancaster & Jones Pro Rodeo along with Pete Carr Pro Rodeo are loading the bucking chutes with standout bucking stock while on the other end of the arena brings us some of the hottest young guns in the tie-down roping. It all starts at 8:30 PM ET.
BAREBACK RIDING
Your No. 9 bareback rider in the World, Jacob Lees, has matched up with Lancaster & Jones’ Highway Man. Rookie Kade Sonnier was marked 84 on the horse in March and Cole Reiner pulled a check on the horse at the Texas Circuit Finals.

STEER WRESTLING
Two-time National Finals qualifier Bridger Chambers had success at two other Texas Swing rodeos this winter, San Antonio and Houston. Carrying that momentum into San Angelo will be vital as the time on two to beat is 9.7 seconds.

TEAM ROPING
The team roping is stacked in Performance 5 but there are two teams with dynamite capabilities to watch for. Luke Brown and Hunter Koch’s past three pay days were over $3,000 a piece, they have found their stride. Meanwhile, NFR team ropers Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill remain unranked but not underestimated.

Stevi Hillman is lower in the WPRA standings than we are used to seeing her at this time, however she is steady adding to her 2023 earnings. She was a 16.32 in Round 1, meaning she will have to be a 14.64 to break into the Top 12 as of right now, and in San Angelo, the times only get faster.
