STEER WRESTLING

It is a loaded performance of steer wrestling with National Finals bull doggers Stetson Jorgensen, Will Lummus and Dakota Eldridge out to change the pace. With a 3.5 still leading the way in Round 2, one of these cowboys could move to No. 1.

TEAM ROPING

Nelson Wyatt and Justin Davis are the two we’ve seen this season bring in some big paycheck at places like San Antonio and Houston but at San Angelo they have switched partners. Wyatt is roping with five-time NFR heeler Chase Tryan while heading for Davis is two-time World Champion Matt Sherwood.

Brody Cress’ matchup is Pete Carr’s Spotted Charm. Will Pollock covered the horse for 85 points in San Antonio and a go-round check from San Angelo could bump Cress into the Top 10 in the PRCA World Standings.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

A 6.9-second run is what is leading Round 2 in San Angelo and a couple cowboys in tonight’s performance had tough luck in Round 1 but have the chance to bounce back. That includes Hunter Herrin who had a no time while John Douch will have to shave four seconds off his Round 1 time to go to the lead.

BARREL RACING

Shannon Griffin current sits just outside the Top 15 in the WPRA World Standings while Sara Winkelman is just outside of the Top 10. Both clocked 16-second runs in Round 1 so they will have to tighten up in Round 2 if they want a Go-Round check as a 14.84 is currently sixth place.
