The final performance of San Angelo Rodeo that will conclude Round 1 is set. After the dust settles tonight, your Top 12 in the roughstock and Top 12 in the average of the timed events will move on to the Short Go where champions will be crowned.

BAREBACK RIDING

Mason Clements has a rematch that could make big moves on the leaderboard. He has drawn J Bar J’s Night Lizard, a horse that he was 87.5 on in 2021. The NFR bucking horse was out in two other Texas Swing rodeos and Clements could make his out in San Angelo his best one yet of 2023.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

Kincade Henry’s 9.0 was not enough for Round 1 money but it gives him a chance at the average. We know what the young gun is capable of and an 8.1 is what he needs to be faster than to find his way into the Top 12 and back for the Short Go.
