Sage Newman and Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Downtown Stack Up and Set the Bar in Weatherford

Montana saddle bronc rider Sage Newman takes home the win at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days and Rodeo.

Sage Newman rolled into Weatherford, Texas with Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Downtown ready to be loaded in the chutes. After an impressive eight seconds, Newman went to No. 1 on the leaderboard with an 87-point ride, a ride that would not be beat.

“That’s the horse you want every time. He just lets you show off your stuff and takes a lot of rein and has a lot of power and just lets you show off you stuff and a lot of fun,” Newman said.

He is carrying the momentum and confidence from a successful Winter Run into the Summer Run and being surrounded by good buddies that double as some of the best bronc riders in the World always helps.

This was just one of Newman’s success stories of the first weekend in June. He picked up another win in Sisters, Oregon while also placing just down the road from Weatherford in Coleman. He is now the No. 6 saddle bronc rider in the World.
