Sage Kimzey rode Red Demon for 91.5 points to top the leaderboard in Quarterfinal No. 5 in Cheyenne. It matched the highest score of this year’s rodeo.
“What a great bull, he’s all you can ask for, he was dang sure bucking today,” Kimzey said of the Universal Pro Rodeo’s bull.
It was the best bull riding we’ve had so far at The Dad as reigning World Champion Stetson Wright advanced with 90 points. World No. 1 Ky Hamilton and four-time NFR qualifier Parker Breding also moved on.
The round also featured Cody Teel, Trey Benton III and JB Mauney among others.
