Sage Kimzey Claims and Emotional Bracket 7 Round 1 Win in Fort Worth

After an emotional roller coaster of a week for Sage Kimzey, he comes to Dickies Arena and gets the Round 1 win in his bracket with his newborn son watching on The Cowboy Channel for the very first time.

Kimzey remained focused and calm, he looked like the Sage Kimzey everyone is used to seeing before the bull riding. You would never know the week he had leading up to Bracket 7 Round 1 of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

“First time baby boy is watching The Cowboy Channel, are you kidding me? I had to show out tonight,” Kimzey said with a huge smile.

Kimzey rode Rafter G Rodeo’s Road To Nowhere for 80 points to be one of two qualified rides. Trevor Reiste was second qualified ride with 72 points.
