Saddle Bronc Rider Wyatt Casper Cinches His Third NFR Qualification

Saddle bronc rider Wyatt Casper has secured this third National Finals Rodeo qualification as he sits at No. 11 in the PRCA World Standings.

Casper finished second in the NFR Average at his first Finals in 2020 and came back in 2021 where he won Round 7 and placed in four others.

Casper’s overall earnings for the regular season totaled out to $123,801 to claim his spot in the Top 15.

BIGGEST PAYDAY

Rodeo Houston, $28,500

Casper made multiple big moves at Rodeo Houston including three rides scoring 90 points or above. A 90-point ride in the Championship Shootout Round earned Casper second place and a total of $28,500 at Rodeo Houston.

Battle of the Best, $12,852

The Battle of the Best showcased some of the industries most talented saddle bronc riders including Casper who took the lead in Bracket 6 and placed second in the Finals earning a total of $12,825 for the event.

Rodeo Houston, 92 points

One of Casper’s most notable rides of the season took place at Rodeo Houston where he scored a 92-point ride on Cervi Championship Rodeo’s Avenger to win the Wildcard Round.

Reno Rodeo, 90.5 points

Casper made the highest marked ride of the Reno Rodeo with 90.5 points on Big Bend Rodeo’s Kool Toddy in the Final Round.

NOTABLE WINS

Red Bluff, 87 points

Casper earned a big score and an even bigger payout at the Red Bluff Round-Up where he took home the Championship Title with an 87-point ride and a check of over $7,300.

Jordan Match Xtreme Bronc Ride, 91.5 points

A 91.5-point ride on J Bar J’s Shady jacket secured Casper the win in Jordan, Montana at the Jordan Match Xtreme Bronc Ride where the cowboy took home a check for over $3,500.
