Tanner Butner secured his position in the Top 15 for the PRCA World Standings and is just days aways from making his first appearance in the Thomas & Mack.

Butner finished out his regular season at No. 15 with $103,739 in earnings to get his spot at the NFR.

After ending the 2021 season at No. 24 in the Standings, Butner has leveled up and is bound for Vegas.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

California Rodeo Salinas, $10,905

Butner took second place in Round 1 of the California Rodeo Salinas and continued to show out finishing first in the Short Go to take home the Championship Title with 175 points in the Average. A total of $10,905 was added to Butner’s earnings after this big win.

World’s Oldest Rodeo, $6,712

An 86.5-point ride on Championship Pro Rodeo’s Secret Agent secured Butner the top spot at the World’s Oldest Rodeo in Prescott, Arizona where he won a check of $6,712.

HIGHEST MARKED RIDES

Sheridan WYO Rodeo, 92.5 points

Butner turned in one of the highest marked rides of his career with a 92.5-point ride on Sankey Pro Rodeo & Phenom Genetics’s Black Tie at the Sheridan WYO Rodeo to claim first place and earn a check of $5,640.

NOTABLE WINS

West of the Pecos Rodeo, 87.5 Points

Butner made a number of wins this season including the West of the Pecos Rodeo with an 87.5-point ride on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Uptuck to earn $3,638.

Bozeman Stampede, 85 Points

Butner took home more than $2,000 as he and world No. 1 Sage Newman (82.5) were the only cowboys in the 80s for the entire three-day event.
