Sage Newman is the No. 1 saddle bronc rider in the World and he cinched his first ever National Finals Rodeo Round win in Round 1 with an 89-point ride.
“Yeah that was a really good horse, Rubels of Big Stone’s, and I just wanted to keep stuff rolling and that was a great horse to do it on,” Newman said.
Newman came into the NFR with a good lead and he extended that lead last night.
