Saddle Bronc Rider Kole Ashbacher Set to Make His First Appearance in the Thomas & Mack

Canadian cowboy Kole Ashbacher cinched his first National Finals Rodeo qualification as he claims the No. 12 spot in the PRCA World Standings.

Ashbacher earned a total of $117,543 this season and will make his debut in the Thomas & Mack in just a few short weeks.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

Cinch Playoffs, $13,350

The Cinch Playoffs took place in Puyallup, Washington where Ashbacher won a check in Performance 1 and the Semifinals to then advance into the Final Round where he placed second with an 85-point ride on Corey & Lange’s Rodeo’s Monster to take home a total of $13,500.

The Calgary Stampede, $9,500

Ashbacher qualified for the Semifinals at the Calgary Stampede but due to a tie for the fourth position, Ashbacher competed in the Wild-card Round and won a total of $9,500 in Alberta.

HIGHEST MARKED RIDES

San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, 89.5 points

Ashbacher turned in his highest marked ride of the season at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo with an 89.5-point ride on Macza Pro Rodeo’s Get Smart in the Final Round to win a total of $5,745.

Omak Stampede, 89 points

An 89-point ride on Flying 5 Rodeo’s Johnny Be Good secured Ashbacher with a tie for second place at the Omak Stampede and a check for $2,820.

NOTABLE WINS

Madison Pro Rodeo

Ashbacher claimed the Championship Title at the Madison Pro Rodeo and would turn out to be his only win in the United States this season. The cowboy turned in a score of 86 points on Three Hill Rodeo’s No. R8 to secure a check of $3,263.

Canadian Wins

As a Canadian native Ashbacher is heavily involved with the Canadian Pro Rodeo Association and won multiple Canadian Pro Rodes including the Maple Leaf Circuit Finals, the Drayton Valley Pro Rodeo and the Airdrie Pro Rodeo.
