Saddle Bronc Rider Kade Bruno Enters First NFR Within the Top 10

Kade Bruno has qualified for his first ever National Finals Rodeo.
After having a tough start to his professional rodeo career with Covid striking during his first year. Two short years later, he is Las Vegas bound after achieving some big wins and putting himself within the Top 10 in the PRCA World Standings.
NFR Open, $25,596
At the inaugural NFR Open Bruno started things with a bang when he went 87.5 points on Hi Lo Pro Rodeo’s Warhawk. A third-place finish in Round 2 put him No. 1 in the average going into the Semifinals. There, he was second before going on to win the Final round with a 90-point ride on the NFR bucking horse of Andrews Rodeo, All or Nothin.
HIGHEST MARKED RIDES
Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, 89 points
After battling through Bracket Four of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, Bruno moved on to the Semfinals where he would make an 89-point ride on Calgary Stampede’s Business Girl. This would end up being his third highest marked ride of the 2022 regular season.
The War Bonnett Round Up, 90 points
In his home state of Idaho, Bruno would tie his highest marked ride of the year from the NFR Open. Aboard King Rodeo and Wentz Bucking Bulls’ Oh Toodles, Bruno would mark 90 points, get the win and add almost $2,500 to his season earnings.
Redding Rodeo, 85 points
Bruno’s California run was a good one. He took home the win from Redding Rodeo with an 85-point ride on Corey & Lange Rodeo’s Teardrop to cash in over $5,500 and continue his climb of the World Standings.
Ogden Pioneer Days, 87 points
After Cowboy Christmas, Bruno would become Co-Champion of this Utah rodeo, An 87-point ride on Korkow Rodeo’s Crickett would tie him with Logan Cook to win it all.
The Idaho saddle bronc rider sits No. 9 going into his first NFR.
