Darcy Radel is making an early statement in the 2026 PRCA season. The Australian saddle bronc rider split the win at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo after delivering a 91 point ride aboard J Bar J’s Shady Jacket. The big score not only earned him a share of the title at one of the sport’s most prestigious winter rodeos, but also propelled him to No. 10 in the PRCA World Standings.
It marks a dramatic turnaround from 2025, where Radel finished only 38th in the world standings. Just weeks into the new season, he has already positioned himself among the top contenders.
With a strong start behind him and a long season ahead, Radel is focused on taking things one step at a time and loving every second of riding bucking horses.
