Rylee George Gets Faster with Every Run in San Antonio to be Semi-Finals Bound in the Breakaway Roping

California cowgirl Rylee George is cashing in at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.

Two second-place finishes in the firt two go-rounds were good but Rylee George was going for great. In Round 3 she was just that when she blazed a 1.6-second run to clock the fastest time of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.

“I drew a good calf, this is the same calf that Aspen [Miller] won the first round on and I got a good go at him today,” George said.

While her trip to the Las Vegas brought about a shift in her mental game, it brought back the fun for George.

“I decided to just go have fun and go at every calf and just try to keep the momentum going in these winter rodeos and it’s been going good,” she said.

Joining George in the Semi-Finals is Aspen Miller, Rickie Fanning and Jenna Dallyn after three wicked fast rounds of breakaway roping.
